On sunday 16th oct 2016 i ran a pop up maker space at the CC Spring Fair from 10am till 4pm. I was assisted by Hannah, Kylie and Craig. I had planned 4 activities over the day and had created a display of resources that could be perused, several posters explaining the pupose of the makerspace and what we hoped to achieve.

the drawbots and toy dismantling were very popular. in fact we were somewhat overwhelmed with interest from children and parents which didnt leave much time to manage the other activities planned.
many parents commented positively on the initiative and were very supportive. some asked why they didnt know of the initiative so the pop-up makerspace was successful in what it planned to achieve, that being to inform the wider community of its presence.
